Ski and splitboard Guiding #ski mountaineering

25May

I am a certified Ski and Splitboard guide through the American Mountain Guide Association and spend lots of time on snow, often exploring places new to me. Over the years I've logged some first descents on both skis and a splitboard in Washington, Colorado, Utah, Chile and Argentina.

I'd love to take you into the mountains, and can set up customized trips throughout the North and Central Cascades from late April through June each year. In July and August, I work as an alpine guide in Grand Teton National Park. Example trips are:

-Ski descents of peaks big and small, steep or mellow, classic or obscure: (Mount Shuksan, Komo Kulshan (Mt Baker), Klickitat (Mt Adams), Mount Stuart, Mount Buckner, etc.

-Ski traverses (Stuart Range Traverse, Forbidden Tour, Ptarmigan Traverse, Chiwaukum Traverse, Pickets Traverse).

-Skills clinics (Glacier navigation and crevasse rescue, Steep ski/riding techniques, etc)

-Climb the Grand Teton, the Grand Traverse, and the Cathedral Traverse
